The CSU Convention is an event for all interested members (you can join for free) to present on topics which they are interested in us working on in the future. The Board and membership will then vote to approve or deny each proposal. After the convention we will make topic based committees that delve into these policy proposals. The convention will be held at Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library from 1:00-4:00 PM.  We hope that all who are able to attend will come!

How do I present a policy?

All are welcome to propose any policy they wish. These should ideally be focused on the Charlotte community, or take place within it. Policies can be vague, such as supporting public transit, but they can also be specific, such as working on getting signal priority for the Gold Line streetcar. Be sure to come prepared to tell us why this issue is important to you. Slideshows and other presentation types are recommended but not required. We hope to see a wide range of policy ideas at the convention! If you have any questions on how to present, contact our secretary and he will happily answer any questions you may have.
